Dear Sirs,
Commercial Information Circular No. 277/2005
The Mainland of China : Final Ruling on Anti-dumping Investigation Against Imports of Trichloroethylene (C2HCl3) from Russia and Japan
The Ministry of Commerce issued Notice No. 37/2005 on 22 July 2005, announcing the final ruling on the anti-dumping investigation against imports of trichloroethylene (C2HCl3) from Russia and Japan. The relevant tariff code of the General Administration of Customs is 2903 2200.
ANTI-DUMPING MEASURE
-
The ruling confirmed that dumping existed regarding the investigated products originated in Russia and Japan, and that such dumping had caused material injury to the domestic industry. As a result, the Mainland had decided to impose anti-dumping duties, range from 3% to 159% on imports of trichloroethylene (C2HCl3) from the above regions. The anti-dumping measure would be in place for 5 years from 22 July 2005.
- For details of the initiation of the anti-dumping investigation and the preliminary finding of the case, please refer to our CIC No. 98/2004 dated 19 April 2004 and CIC No. 18/2005 dated 8 January 2005 respectively.
