The Mainland of China : Notice Concerning the Abolishment of Regulations Relating to Foreign-invested Enterprises Under Transformation
The Ministry of Commerce and the State Administration for Industry and Commerce jointly issued on 31 December 2005 a notice concerning the abolishment of a series of regulations relating to foreign-invested enterprises under transformation, which will take effect from 1 December 2006. The notice sets out to regulations relating to foreign-invested enterprises under transformation to be abolished and stipulates that enterprises engaging in direct selling without obtaining prior legal permission will be handled in accordance with Article 39 of the "Regulations on Direct Selling". A copy of the notice is attached at Annex (pdf format) for reference.
