Dear Sirs,
Commercial Information Circular No. 57/2006
The Mainland of China : Final Ruling on Anti-dumping Investigation Against Imports of Benzofuranol from Japan, the European Union and the United States
The Ministry of Commerce issued Notice No. 7/2006 on 12 February 2006, announcing the final ruling on the anti-dumping investigation against imports of benzofuranol from Japan, the European Union and the United States. The relevant tariff code of the General Administration of Customs is 2932 9910.
ANTI-DUMPING MEASURE
-
The ruling confirmed the existence of dumping regarding the investigated products originated in Japan, the European Union and the United States, and that such dumping had caused material injury to the domestic industry. As a result, the Mainland had decided to impose anti-dumping duties which range from 44% to 113.2% on imports of benzofuranol from the above regions. The anti-dumping measure would be in place for 5 years from 12 February 2006.
- For details of the initiation of the anti-dumping investigation and the preliminary finding of the case, please refer to our CIC No. 202/2004 dated 12 August 2004 and CIC No. 212/2005 dated 16 June 2005 respectively.
